Im rooting for a create a stage, how awesome would t be to edit a field from the ground up? I mean sure it would take a while with the level of depth I have in mind, but it would be so awesome and im sure players would love it. Heres what I had in mind:
Firstly you would be able to freely edit the size of the field, ranging from small to very large, IDK the exact dimensions here seeing as I suck at dimensions.
Secondly would be the landscape editor, in which you could elevate the land to a certain point to make hills and such and you could put trees down to make a small forest (wouldn't that be fun? Fighting in a forest!)
third there would be the option to choose the starting point for both leaders of the armies, this would dictate where the main generals are on the field, and where the army will be centered
fourth, you will need to set up bases and such, and make supply routes which would decided what part of the map belonged to which side.
fifth comes things like walls and castles, this has to be the part most people would most enjoy. In this you could set up walls to build castles and fortresses. (I.E set up your own castle like the one in Osaka or fortify your base with walls like in DW5 empires) Or you could go on the offensive and build cannon walls that would fire (also like in Osaka) and make archer/ muskateer post.
Thats how I think it would be optimal to work, however more detailed things like rivers and bridges to go over them wouldnt hurt. And maybe even ships with cannons that fire onto land, and at your foes. However I think thats pushing it a bit. I'd be satisfied with a field editor along the lines of what I described above.
yeh i agree with that
i hate fighting on places that you cant go to
just need to create a place wher all the fighting takes place add a few cannons and forests and rivers... then its hell on earth itself
