GO ARMY

Exactly.  Subofficers added a certain strategy on the units you have to protect most and which units are the most dangerous.  Killing subofficers is a good investment because it lowers morale, even moreso in SW
Yea. I think that morale played a much bigger role in SW1 than it did in SW2.

Yea. I think that morale played a much bigger role in SW1 than it did in SW2.

That it did, Plus, Getting 1,000 Kills didn't shoot your morale up to the maxium, Which meant that you still had to work to get it up there.

Not even 2,000 kills did the trick.

I have a few questions on empires.

1.  Is there any other way to increase the amount of officers I have without taking over more territory?

2.  Does empire mode finish as soon as you take every piece of land?

3.  Is there any way to kick out anyone within your army, simply because you don't need him?

That's all I have for now, so Thanks in advance. Smiley

p.s. I took the Kawanakajima scenario if that does anything.

Yes to all.  To kick someone out you need to replace them when you capture someone. Maybe I'm just a little cruel but I wish you could execute people in your actual army Cheesy

My turn for a question. I know, if Moogle Buddy has a question it's the end of the world, but hey, I like the aesthetics of brimstone.

In Samurai Warriors 2: Empires, how do you unlock the movie "Meanwhile at Ganryujima" -Musashi and Kojiro's duel. I look at FAQ's for most of the stuff I don't know, but this one is listed as the author not knowing(can only find one)

Thanks for the info.

As for your question I actually just recently had that event happen by chance.  From what I remember I had just hired Musashi and stationed him in Harima(Around that general area), and Kojiro was in the neighbouring Fief to the right, which was another lords territory, not mine.  After going through the strategy faze and all that it just happened.  The year was somewhere between 1602-1608 if that may make a difference, but that's all I remember when it happened.

Hey there, I'm new around here.

I bought Samurai Warriors 2 Empires on the Xbox 360 about a week ago, and it's my first ever KOEI game. I had played it before at a friend's house, and played as Oichi, having a blast. After playing it for a week now, I still do not know how to play as Oichi. There seems to be no way to select her initially, and I'm not exactly sure how I would go about unlocking her.

Can anyone help me out?

My question relates to SW2 Survival Mode.  Do you have the opportunity to be able to start from a floor above 51F?  I hate the fact that you have to pay so much to start on such a low level and have to spend a bunch of time to get ino 80+.  Sorry I've only gotten a few floors above 80.  If you have the option to pay to start at a higher level after completing a certain level please let me know.

Recently I bought Samurai Warriors 2(and for a price of $10 for it being used and a little aged), and I have to say, it's probably the best thing to come out of the Warriors franchise second to Dynasty Warriors 6. Characters are most definitely unique with thei movesets and special attacks, and the Samurai Warriors team is keeping the roster low in number. Skills are also a nice touch-up, and the Shop is done wonderfully.

Stories are done well, and actually show the horrors of war better than Dynasty Warriors(particularly in the grittiness of Nobunaga's Okehazama cutscene, which could have been improved by showing Yoshimoto struggling to figure out why his carraige stopped, and peeking through to see the Oda troops around him). When I played Mitsuhide's story, my jaw dropped and eyes widened at both the movies with Nagamasa and the post-Honnoji scene. Graphics are especially nice for me on the Xbox 360, since I've been seeing tons of current-gen graphics from PS2 versions of past Warriors iterations.

Unlike Dynasty Warriors 6, Samurai Warriors 2 has a load of interaction in-battle and out. Character development shines in this game specifically.

One thing I would have liked to see improved is the battle make-up of some Story modes. I've yet to fully play through all stories(in fact, I'm just barely reaching over half of the character roster for having the game two weeks, though that may contribute to academic studies), and I understand that all of the officers I've played through are Western army, but really -- I just don't want to play Yamazaki, Odawara Castle, East, Kuzegawa, then Sekigahara. Luckily, almost everyone has a unique Dream stage.

Another thing that could've been better is the number of systems. It's something that makes Samurai Warriors genuinely different than its Chinese-counterpart, yet I feel the game's lacking in the sheer number of missions to play.

Overall, I'll give the game an 8.5/10.

Ok so i know this was a bit random but i remember awhile ago when Sw2 came out that someone had made mods for it and put Sephiroth and a couple other people in the game. Can't remember who else but it was posted on Koei Warriors. does anyone else remember that? I'm trying to find it but im having no luck Undecided

Oh my God... I've just been able to get Moon Child and Kojiro Sasaki to be purchasable in the Shop. So tiring... Then I figure out I have to go back to floor 51, instead of the game saving floor 70. Ah well, it'll be worth getting the Persian Mare and Katsuie. Does anyone know if you can still use Kojiro and Katsuie as bodyguards after you download the Xtreme Legends package on Xbox Live? I'm doubting it, but just asking.

Does wheel formation give your army anything more than a speed advantage?  The reason I ask is because I noticed that the lesser serpent and yoke speed formation advantage make your character just flash blue (without any powerups), but the wheel formation advantage makes your character flash blue, red, and green (again without any powerups).  Does it give you some attack and defense advantage as well?  I know I’m probably missing something here, but if that is the case, I can’t see why arrow and half moon formation advantages don’t do the same (they only flash their respective colors red and green).

GreatPanda: No you will not be able to have Kojiro Sasaki or Katsuie Shibata as your bodyguards after you download the Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends Two Expansion Pack. So enjoy them, before you download it. Smiley Also, to play as them, all you'll need to do is to use Nene and have either of them as your bodyguard, then just go somewhere, where none of your allies are around, and use her Special Transformation Move. Smiley

MasamuneMiyamoto: There are a total of Eighty-Nine Cards in Samurai Warriors Two Empires. Smiley

uesama: When you use the Wheel Formation, you will recieve all of the abilities. That means that you and your entire army will have Attack Times Two, Defense Times Two, and Incrediable Speed. Smiley
