[Chooser of the Slain]

Would an Empires be good for Samurai Warriors? I know Japan is nowhere near as large as China, but the size of the regions matters very little in the game. The battlefields are the same size whether you are attacking a large region or a tiny region. I think it would be really cool.

it could be possible.  Japan my be small, but there we LOTS of fuedal lords during that time period...you only hear about Shingen, Kenshin, Masamune, Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu the most because they were the ones who were the more important ones, but thee were LOTS more.  In 16th century Japan, you could easily divide Japan up into at LEAST 40-50 seperate areas with their own lords/daimyos.

The reason it does not seem that way is that many smaller daimyos and clan leaders swore an oath of allegiance with more powerful ones.  This hints why you will see who families of people that served under the more important lords, heh heh.

I think it would be really good. Koei is doing really good with their games anyway, so why stop now??

Samurai Warriors would actually be really good for Empires.  Japan, although relatively small, has many divided regions and a lot of warlords, so it would be a great addition to the series.

I don't care if they just rip off DW5-E.  i just wanna see an Empire Mode for SW2.  So if they must, just use the style from DW5-E and change up a few things. Although I would rather it be very unique, but...all in all...i just wanna play an Empire Mode.

yes the thing is different but the basic game structure is the same , take over china or in this case its japan, u pick wat to do go into battle and conquer territories , it'd be better if u were one person and u could choose where to go or choose to stay a ronin and actually travel around japan in third person

Samurai Warriors: Empires is a great idea, there are enough territories and enough characters, it'd make a great game

Naw i hate it when Koei does that cuz then im tempted to buy it. Like i have all these different versions of DW5... just make 1 good version wit all the games combiened

Yeah, it would be nice, but I don't think they have enough room on the DVD-roms for all that.  I still think they would have do at least 2 seperates.  It doesn't seem like alot, but if you peel away how simple the game is, there is a lot that goes on and that takes up disc space.

DW5-E was a completely stand alone game in itself.  It had a Free Mode, Empire Scenario Modes, and Empire Free Mode...plus they had to add all of those sub-generals even more voice acting.  Now, when DW/SW goes next gen console...they darn well better put it all on one disc as a brand new game will be $60.
