I HATE Huang Hao, funny as it is there seemed to be a loser adviser in both Shu and Wu that brought down their kingdoms. Cen Hun said it was okay for Sun Hao to be a despotic tyrant. Huang Hao cared only for the Yan yu guy and helped Chan screw Shu over.

My Fav is Pu Yang if the attack comes from the south or north.  Attacks from the east suck

My favourite city is either Xu Chang, or Xin Ye.

Xu Chang - I like this city simply because it has a lot of development spaces and i also like defending it in the 5 sides it can get attacked from. ( Ru Nan, Xin Ye, Luo Yang, Chen Liu & Wan)

Xin Ye - I really don't know, for some reason i just like this city.

Ew, Puyang. I'll grant that the southern front is an easy defense, but one of the major problems with that city is that the western development spots are constantly being attacked, even by units that are on their way to Chenliu. Too close to Ye's territory. Wan has a similar problem.

If you don't own Chen Liu with Xu Chang your development areas on the cliff are usually attacked.

Even if you do own that chunk, you're usually attacked from Ye.

For Chen Liu to be secure you have to have Pu Yang, Ye, Xiao Pei, Shou Chun, Xu Chang, Luo Yang, and possibly Runan and Wan. And you need a lot of officers to defend your region on all those fronts.

It also might be a few too many cities to defend for the security of one city.

I actually like Chen Liu. The mountain west of it is my best friend. In Turmoil Land, I find defending Chen Liu quite easy because of the big tendency for the forces west of you that originally intend to attack you to actually fight amongst themselves. That choke point works wonders. I give up Pu Yang to whoever is interested and defend in Chen Liu. I prefer taking the area west of Chen Liu in one feel swoop.

Another good thing about Chen Liu is that if you're playing Cao Cao, it's easy to rumor spam Lu Bu, Liu Bei and Yuan Shu..

The region I like the most though is Jiang Dong and my favorite city is Hui Ji. It's really peaceful out there and looks very nice in Spring.

i seem to have grown fond of Jin Yang i just like starting there and defending it for you can go from behind the mountains and flank the opposing army
