2 players can cooperate with each other in Story mode and Free mode. You have to use caution when using your Musou attack in these modes: there is only one Musou gauge for both players. When you are performing any Musou activity, like replenishing your gauge, or performing a Musou attack, both players are equally affected. If one player performs a Musou attack, the other will automatically follow suit. It’s important to time your Musou attacks to get the maximum KO power from them. Look and listen for clues to tell you when your partner needs assistance. If you and your partner are within a certain distance of each other (your character will have a bluish glow), you will be able to unleash massive Musou attacks.
